SAGA State Competition

Waikerie Gliding Club is pleased to host the 2024 SAGA State Competition which will follow on from Coaching Week. Come along to Coaching Week and then extend into the State Comps
We will be running a single class with daily tasks that will suit all standards of gliders. This format was successfully trailed at Orange Week and uses the unballasted handicap adjusted for all up flying weight. This means you can elect to fly either ballasted or unballasted.

We aim to make the event both a safe and fun making it an ideal introduction to competition flying. There will be plenty of coaches available to assist and mentor you each day.
Evening meals will be provided on most evenings, but there will be one or two evenings where we might venture into town for a meal. The clubhouse has a members’ kitchen for breakfasts, lunch and other self catering. There is also accommodation available both in a variety of rooms as well as camping and caravan sites.
